You can book a home visit by calling 022 68 247 248 or book a test online. Home visits are to be booked one day in advance and are subject to availability of the time slot.

Yes, we are one of the first labs in Maharashtra to be accredited by NABL.
Yes, doctor’s prescription is necessary for some specialized tests. It is not necessary in case of preventive health packages and routine tests.

 Home Visit

  • To continue providing the highest quality of service, beginning from the 1st of June, a nominal fee of INR 100 will be charged for home blood collection services. (This modest fee allows us to maintain the professionalism, convenience, and safety measures associated with our home collection service)
  • Sunday visits will be taken subject to the availability of time slots.
  • Home visit charges and Sunday rates are applicable for Mumbai, Navi Mumbai & Thane district

A cancellation fee of Rs. 100 will be applicable,

• If the home visit is canceled within 2 hours prior to the scheduled visit time.

• if the home visit is canceled after the technician has reached a patient’s home for the scheduled visit

Ans: SCA is diagnosed based on the results of the SCA test or SCA panel. Test results show whether mutations specific to SCA subtypes are detected or not detected.

2. What is medical SCA?

Ans: Spinocerebellar ataxia refers to a group of rare genetic disorders characterized by slowly progressive impairment of body movements and loss of coordination. It frequently occurs due to degenerative changes or atrophy of a part of the brain called the cerebellum. It causes loss of fine coordination of muscle movements leading to jerky, unsteady and clumsy motion.

Test Preparation
Yes sips of plain water are acceptable.

• For fasting blood sugar - it is recommended that you do not take the diabetes medication

• For post-lunch blood sugar - you need to take the medicine before the test.

• For thyroid – you can take your thyroid medication at the time of the blood test.

Semen Testing
Yes, but it needs to be brought within 30 minutes of collection. Please note there is no home visit facility provided for semen collection.
No. It is done from Monday to Saturday between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at our Dadar Lab.
Yes, we conduct Semen Wash at our Dadar Lab, from Monday to Saturday, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Washed specimen delivery time will depend on submission of sample.
Reports
As a practice, we email reports on the registered email id as soon as they are ready.
Same day reports will be mailed to your registered email address post 7.30 p.m.
Yes within Mumbai (at an extra cost of Rs. 50). Conditions apply.
